Cytological Atlas of Infectious Diseases

Cytoinfect is an open-access atlas that aims to improve the diagnosis of infectious diseases by highlighting their cytomorphological features.

Comparative images are essential for recognizing cytomorphological patterns. Our goal is to collect as many high-quality, well-documented examples as possible and make them freely accessible to clinicians, trainees and researchers.

Each case is reviewed by several experts. For this reason, we can only publish cases that have been fully documented and validated. We cannot accept individual consultation requests or provide personal medical advice.

All images on this website are protected by copyright. Any use, reproduction or distribution is only permitted with the prior permission of Cytoinfect.

This website is a work in progress. We welcome comments, corrections and submissions of fully diagnosed cases, including both images and brief case descriptions.
